HOMELESS
NOT HELPLESS
Our mission is to encourage, uplift, and empower low-income families by providing housing, essential support, and resources that create job opportunities and
foster thriving communities.
OUR MISSION
DID YOU
KNOW?
Our story started in the early 1990s when founder Omeca Ann Best, a Member at New Baptist Church Elizabeth, NJ 07206, served as a legal assistant to Immigration Judges in Newark, New Jersey, working with families facing eviction from their homes. She witnessed the horrible conditions and saw that many had little to no help accessing affordable housing. Omeca Best formed The Spiritual Doll nonprofit organization to help people have affordable housing/apartments.
AFFORDABLE
